If I have a Lasik enhancement, will the doctor cut a new flap?
 

If your flap has completely healed, it may be necessary for your doctor to cut a new flap.   If it has been less than one year since your original surgery, it is probable that your doctor will lift the existing flap.

 

Everyone's situation will be unique. Your flap may have healed and would be unable to be lifted. Talk to your doctor about what s/he feels is appropriate.
