Why
is my vision hazy after refractive surgery?
With laser refractive surgery, hazing or cloudiness occurs most often when the ablation has not fully healed. It can also be caused by serious problems that require immediate response. Be sure to tell your doctor immediately if haze is present after refractive surgery. Keep the doctor advised if haze persists. You may be prescribe therapeutic eye drops to assist with healing. Usually haze clears up within a few days, but can take several weeks in rare cases. |
